Public and Private IP
Can cPanel have a public and internal ip setup. I know about 1:1 Nat but that's not what im looking for.
Our WHM has 2 IP address straight out to the public on NIC 1 in a dual Intel NIC system. 2nd NIC id like to enable and hook into our local network so WHM/cPanel server has access to local system's mainly our SAN for backups. SAN has no outside access.
So I guess my question is if I enable the 2nd NIC and give it a local address, is it going to mess with our cPanel install at all?
If it can be what steps do I need to take to ensure that cPanel see's the local address but doesn't try to use it for anything.

Hello, This should not result in any problems. You can reserve the IP address for cPanel and Apache via: "WHM Home " IP Functions " Show/Edit Reserved IPs" "WHM Home " Service Configuration " Apache Configuration " Reserved IPs Editor" Thank you.0
