Hello, The score for outgoing messages is configured via the following options under the "Apache SpamAssassin" Options" tab in "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager": Scan outgoing messages for spam and reject based on the Apache SpamAssassin" internal spam_score setting Scan outgoing messages for spam and reject based on defined Apache SpamAssassin" score Note that entering "7" as defined Apache SpamAssassin" score translates to "70" in /etc/exim.conf.localopts. As of cPanel version 58, when outbound spam scanning is enabled, all email deliveries that are piped to sendmail or exim will happen in the background to avoid delays in the acceptance of email. This prevents PHP from timing out when sending mail. Thank you.

Thanks, In our exim settings in cPanel we have those two options greyed out. The first is on and the second is set to 15. So that still does not explain where the outbound scanning is getting 5 as the threshold from?

Hello, Is it possible these are scores for forwarded emails? If so, note the additional configuration values under the "Apache SpamAssassin" Options" tab in "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager": Do not forward mail to external recipients if it matches the Apache SpamAssassin" internal spam_score setting [?] Do not forward mail to external recipients based on the defined Apache SpamAssassin" score (Minimum: 0.1; Maximum: 99.9) [?] Otherwise, feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you.
