Backup not including public_html
Hi,
When I run a cpmove or a backup of a domain inside cPanel, the homedir/public_html folder is missing. Can anyone shed light to why?

Is the directory listed in the cpbackup-exclude.conf file? 0 -
Hi, Thanks for the reply. It is not in the /home/user/cpbackup-exclude.conf file. 0 -
Is the account near its quota? Any hints in the backup log for that account as to whats happening during the backup process? Please feel free to open a ticket to cPanel Technical Support about this if you like. 0 -
I have a update: when I less the file, the public_html directory is there, but not when I extract the backup. 0 -
when I less the file
Whats this mean exactly?0 -
I can take the backup file created by cPanel, and run the command less enter, then /public_html and it is listed (/homedir/public_html)in the file, but when I download the file and attempt to extract it, the public_html directory is nowhere to be found. 0 -
Odd. How large is the account? Not sure it matters here, just curious. 0 -

Ownership set properly? 0 -

Hello, Could you us through the full steps you are taking to reproduce this issue? Please include the commands you are using when backing up and extracting the archive. To note, on a test system, the extracted archive includes the public_html directory under this path:./cpmove-username/homedir/public_html
Thank you.0
