EA3 fails from the GUI and the command line.

    I tried yum update - no packages marked for update. I suppose I could try to switch to EA 4... I'm just concerned that the update may fail as EA 3 doesn't seem to want to run.

    As an update, I attempted to upgrade from EA3 to EA4 and it failed with an error "cpanel multilib version problems found". I am not able to determine what libs it is having an issue with and YUM update does not throw any error and indicates no updates are needed.

    Hello, This relates to an issue with the legacy EasyApache 3 system where a broken symlink and/or a named pipe in the '/opt' directory can lead to a failure during the attempt to regenerate a sum report of the files within '/opt'. Internal case EAL-3128 addresses this issue and is scheduled for inclusion with EasyApache version 3.34.7. You can follow the EasyApache 3 change log at:
