Django environment on cPanel
Community, I would like to ask you about the correct deployment of Django environment + PostgreSQL on my cPanel site. I have Django site and I want to host it on cPanel.
However, I heard that using mod_python is not secure.
Could you please give me the right direction.
Thank you!

@cPanelMichael Thank you! But what about PostgreSQL? 0 -
Also, I'm digging cPanel documentation and can't find an answer to one question - why I can't see "Setup Python App" button in Software section of my cPanel? 0 -
@cPanelMichael Thank you! But what about PostgreSQL?
Well, I have installed PostgreSQL with /scripts/installpostgres and configured it. What about my last question - why I can't see "Setup Python App" button in Software section of my cPanel?0 -

Still can't understand why someone can see "Setup Python App" button in Software section. But I can't. Is this cPanel feature? In this case why I can't use it? 0 -
It's not a default Feature in cPanel: cPanel Features List - Documentation - cPanel Documentation 0 -
My apologies for the confusion, CloudLinux offers this, as suggested in the post above by cPanelMichael. That option is mentioned in the CloudLinux docs I linked you to earlier as well: CloudLinux Documentation - Hide Python and Ruby Selector Icons 0 -
So, if I correctly understood, this feature is not available for cPanel installed on CentOS7? Very bad. I will have to transfer my Django site to an alternate hosting panel. 0 -
