FPM 503 Service Unavailable error

Upgraded to WHM 60.0 Build 5. Hurray FPM! Or not so fast..... Enabling FPM on a domain give the 503 error, regardless of php version (5.4, 5.5, 5.6). I'm not sure where to begin to troubleshoot this. Does anyone have advice? Thanks!

  I didn't find an answer, but a blind workaround. Installed a couple new packages in php, now 5.4 with FPM now works. No bueno for 5.5 or 5.6. No idea the differences.
