WordPress error after moving from shared host to CPanel/WHM Vps
The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads. If i set 777 in permissions it works.
Do you you know what is the problem? It is wrong if i let permission to 777?
Thanks.

Hey @savastgfx This is likely due to your current PHP handler and it's requirements. I typically recommend trying the suPHP handler. With this handler, you will need to ensure all files/folders are owned by the user with folders having the permission of 755 and files with the permission of 644. Ok. Thanks for your help. For CMS i see it is better suPHP. Now my Whm PHP handlers settings are cgi. It is ok if i change the PHP handlers from MultiPHP manager or i need to follow other steps. Thanks 0 -

Hello, Yes, that's the correct option to use when modifying the PHP handler. The feature is documented at: MultiPHP Manager for cPanel - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Additional steps are not required. Thank you.0
