Enabling fetchmail on Horde or Roundcube

Hi, It seems that the fetchmail function has gone from Horde or Roundcube. Aside from
yum install fetchmail
does anyone knows how to reactivate this function in either of the webmail platforms?

  Hello, There's a thread on this at: Horde Groupware 5.1.1 - Lost the Fetch Mail feature? Could you let us know the reason you require fetchmail? We might be able to offer an alternate solution. Thank you.

  I wanted to enable a new client to fetch his mails from his old server (non-cPanel). But in the meantime he has provided me with a list of users and passwords and I am retrieving the mails for him using imapsync. On a side note the epel version of imapsync is very old ... Yum install version 1.3.5 a version from 2011. If one wants to use it, rather compile from source :)
