SubDomain problem

Hi.. I'm trying to add a subdomain in cpanel, but I get the follow message: SubDomain Maintenance Reload initiated. test.example.edu.au could not be modified because it does not resolve to a valid ip address. Please ask the system admin to check their resolv.conf and their dns trust relationship Ignore any messages of success this can only result in failure! Can someone tell me what's wrong. I can't figure it out. Thanks for any help. - Removed -

  Hi, Please contact to your hosting provider to check this issue as you have only cPanel Level Access. If you have root access then you need to check resolv.conf file and make sure you are resolving to your nameserver correctly
