Multiple websites on single account question
hello,
I am facing a unusual problem after searching my products on google search engine.
Background:
I have my Linux VPS hosting with cpanel and WHM. my websites assume domain1.com. so I wanted to host another website/domain on the same server assume domain2.org, for this i created Addon domain for domain2.org.
situation:
my eCommerce site domain1.com (public_html directory) & a company site domain2.org (company site directory other then public_html directory). both domain having different directory on same server & same ip address..both the sites working fine separately.
Problem:
Recently i have searched my product on google to lookout ranking of products, during many searches i have found something annoying that some of my eCommerce site(domain1.com) products rendering by the company site (domain2.org) or
simply you can say duplicating or product accessing by my company site domain although there is no such files or folder in company site directory(domain2.org).
Example:
for eCommerce - domain1.com/product/xyz.html (valid url)
for company site - domain2.org/product/xyz.html (invalid url because product/xyz.html no such file exist in company directory)
what to do in order to resolve this issue.
Is it possible to host multiple website on one VPS hosting account/cPanel?
help me to getout from it.
thanks

Hello, Could you verify if this is isolated to the secure pages (https)? Thank you. 0 -
Hello Michael, Thank you very much for your concern but my problem has been solved i opened a ticket 2 days ago now every thing is working fine althrough my eCommerce site is HTTPS protected & company site not HTTPS. Outcome: I got two solutions either i have to change my Addon Domain(company site) IP Address using following documentation: How to Assign Dedicated IP Addresses to Subdomains - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Or convert Addon Domain to completely separate cPanel account using following documentation: Convert Addon Domain to Account - Documentation - cPanel Documentation and assign the new IP addresss to Addon domain from WHM. So i go with the second one because of this method gave me much more functioning like to install SSL to Addon domain. Thank you to cPanel Team. 0 -
I'm happy to see the issue is now resolved. Thank you for updating this thread with the outcome. 0
