Email timestamps skewed - large gap in webmail email

There seems to be a very large gap in emails for a recently imported .pst file from Outlook. Apple Mail and Outlook seem to be able to sort correctly, but if I log onto webmail or let's say the users iPhone (iOS 10.10) thy have email for about two weeks back, then there is a gap missing... yet on other IMAP accounts, it's fine.

  Hello, Could you let us know the steps you took to import the PST file? Do the emails exist under the corresponding /home/$username/mail/$domain/$email-account/cur directory? Thank you.
