How to delete archived emails?

Hi, Good day. Is it possible to remove the Archived emails after connecting the service via an email client with IMAP? At the moment it is not possible to remove the emails via Webmail interface. Is there any better way to remove unwanted emails from Archive ?

  Hi, When we change the email archive retention period will the older emails removed automatically. Eg. If the current configuration is to keep the archive for 2years, when change the archiving retention period to 1year from manage archiving feature in cPanel will the older emails get removed and only keep the 1 year old emails? Or do i need to manually remove the folders via filemanager ?

  The emails older than the new retention period are automatically removed during the nightly upcp cron job, or via the use of the following command:
  /scripts/email_archive_maintenance
