Hello, You can't disable the /cpanel redirect without root access to the server. I recommend reaching out to your web hosting provider to see if they can modify the VirtualHost entry for your domain name in the Apache configuration to disable this redirect rule. Thank you.

Hello, The global ScriptAliasMatch entries will override that .htaccess entry. There's a thread here to explain how to modify the behavior if you have root access: I want /webmail gone! You could reach out to your hosting provider to have them update the VirtualHost entry for the specific domain name. Thank you.

I don't have folder conf. This yanks out this line that normally builds into Apache's /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf configuration file:

Hello, The referenced thread was provided so you could send it to your hosting provider when requesting a change to your specific VirtualHost entry. This is change your hosting provider would have to make. Thank you.
