yourdomain.com/index.html should work, I see it there in your screenshot. There are no other files in public_html to open in your browser, they don't exist. process.php is probably a file having to do with some other part of your site, I guess. Did you just move to this server from some other server and forgot to update DNS maybe? Just guessing of course. It is possible if you're uploading to a new account via the IP address and then checking the site via the domain name, that you might be looking at the wrong server, if the DNS wasn't updated. I've done it myself.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately domainname.com/index.html still displays the 404 message. It says: "Not Found The requested URL /index.html was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." This is a new domain name, new server and new FTP set up. I haven't made a website in years, so i feel I may be missing a trick. Here is a screenshot of my FTP Site Manager login, showing ftp.domainname.com

I'm leaning toward DNS issues still. Are you sure the domain name is using the proper nameservers for the new server, setup at your Domain Name Registrar?
