Hello, The following case was implemented with cPanel version 11.52: Fixed case CPANEL-1271: Fixed upper/lower-case issue with ftp accounts. This addressed an issue where FTP account creation allowed for case sensitive usernames (e.g. users could create bob@domain.tld and BOB@domain.tld). In instances where that happened, the first username listed in the account's shadow file (/home/$user/etc/$domain/shadow) would authenticate, and the other username would not. I can confirm that FTP account creation in cPanel version 60 does not allow for case sensitive usernames. This is by design. The workaround for any FTP accounts created during the time frame where case sensitive users were allowed is to manually remove the FTP accounts with capital letters. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you.
