Allow Sharing Nameserver IPs - case 2112 explanation ?

I noticed this change. Where can I find an explanation of this case # so I understand why this has been deprecated? v59.9999.58 dated 2016-Aug-9 Fixed case CPANEL-2112: Remove old 'Allow Sharing Nameserver IPs' tweak setting.

  Hello, The setting didn't actual result in any change in functionality since a much older version of cPanel, and thus was removed from the product. Thank you.
