Hello, Try to run below command on the server.
    yum update
Once yum update successfully then update cPanel forcefully.
    /scripts/upcp --force

Hello, It looks like your attachment isn't loading. Could you post the specific error message from the update logs in CODE tags? Keep in mind we only support Amazon Linux on the official cPanel & WHM AMI. It's available at: AWS Marketplace: cPanel & WHM: The Hosting Platform of Choice Once installed, you can then update cPanel to version of your preference. Thank you.

Hello, I noticed a couple of recent support requests where this issue related to a non-working mirror on the initial cPanel update request, and later completed successfully. Try running the following commands and let us know if you notice any issues:
    yum clean all yum update
    Thank you.

See if this post is of any use: No package boost-program-options available CloudLinux Ended up installing the boost-serialization-1.53.0-25.el7.x86_64.rpm and boost-program-options-1.53.0-25.el7.x86_64.rpm manually and after that it completed smoothly.

Hello, I'm happy to see the issue is now resolved. Could you verify the solution that addressed the issue? Thanks!

Well you misunderstood, I meant that the link you gave me checks my server ip and my license. Everything looked good there.. I still can't get any updates though..

The first post (not the second with the link) was what I linked you to, and I quoted the exact text I hoped you'd see. ;)

Oh my bad sorry! Great, so I am kind of newbie how can I make this installation? I log into my server with SSH and type something?

Could you please post the command you're using to force a cPanel update on your server?
    0
  • Xenofon V
Well I did it updating automatically and when I do try it manually i try from WHM panel. I have CentOS installed. The only commands I tried are the ones I found on the answers here. yum clean all yum update /scripts/upcp --force

  • Infopro
I'm wondering why this is in your update log:
The system failed to execute yum with the arguments "-y -c /etc/yum.conf install ImageMagick boost-program-options boost-serialization"
Please feel free to open a ticket to cPanel Technical Support about this issue if you like.

Hmm ok will do, I am thinking of making a clean install for other reasons so this will definitely solve the issue. Thank you anyway :)

Happy to help. Still, I'd be interested to know whats installed on the server that's looking for these. Some background details might be useful here if you wouldn't mind. :) Thanks!
