Order of Operation for Email Forwarding

Here's the scenario: We are currently on domain.org and are moving to domain.com. We have created the exact same email accounts on domain.com that we have for active email accounts currently on domain.org. Once we transition, the plan is to delete all accounts on domain.org, but leave the forwarders intact. Currently, we have a number of account forwarders set up from nonexistent email accounts on domain.org to active email accounts on domain.org. Here's the question: If we set up a domain forwarder from domain.org to domain.com, will the account forwarders on domain.org work before the domain forwarder on domain.org? Example: Account forwarder on domain.org: nonexistent_account@domain.org to active_account@domain.org If someone sends mail to nonexistent_account@domain.org, will it forward to active_account@domain.org, which would then forward to active_account@domain.com?

  It would result in the same behavior that would occur if someone manually sent an email to 123@example01.com[/EMAIL]. Thank you.

  Hello, For instance, if "123@example01.com[/EMAIL]" is setup as it's own separate email account, and if no filter rules exist to block the message, then it's delivered to the inbox. It's the same as if someone directly sent an email to "123@example01.com[/EMAIL]" from another server. Thank you.
