WHM Root Versus WHM Reseller Themes

Hello, I have Root access to my WHM. When i go to customize the cPanel templates as a WHM Root, i can only customize two cPanel templates. Paper Lantern and Retro. However if i have WHM Reseller access i could customize three cPanel templates. Paper Lantern, Retro and a template only available to Resellers. The Reseller cPanel template is very cool, yet the other two are functional yet are very tiring to look at every day. Yes, i know i could design a new template. But why cant you allow all WHM users access to all three cPanel templates? danielpmc

    What 3rd style are you seeing? On my stock install I only have Retro and Basic.

    Hello cPanelKenneth, I am using the current version of WHM/cPanel, although i have not tested this scenario since the initial release of cPanel 60. When i created an account using WHM and assigned it as a Reseller account, then after logging into WHM as the Reseller account i saw the Retro, Basic (Paper Lantern) and a Reseller template. Scroll down and you will see the three templates i saw in my WHM as a Reseller: cPanel Inc. | cPanel & WHM 60 Thanks for your time, danielpmc

    To be clear, you are saying you see Basic, double rainbow, and Retro as the available styles when logged in as a reseller?

    That's a custom style for purposes of that screenshot. :) You can create one: Tutorial - Create a Custom cPanel Style - Software Development Kit - cPanel Documentation Or install one of these for example: Free cP Starter Style | cPanel Blog They can be set for use by a Reseller for his accounts, or root for all accounts. More Info in the docs about all that. HTH!

    Hello, Thanks for the info. When cPanel version 60 was initially released to the public, the day after, i set up a Reseller account and saw the three templates in my WHM customization area. I was disappointed because i saw it was only available to a Resellers clients cPanels. I have not checked this since because i do not have any Reseller accounts as of now. Please consider this resolved. I greatly appreciate the time and effort staff have put into this. I now understand it should not exist and i have been shown how i can create templates.
