Disable TCP timestamping
hello
I have a doubt, my vps is centos 6 with cpanel and a costumer is asking me to disable tcp timestamps in their repository due security reasons. what do you think guys? does it affect cpanel service?
he's asking for this:
To disable TCP timestamps add the line 'net.ipv4.tcp_timestamps = 0' to
/etc/sysctl.conf. and execute 'sysctl -p' to apply the settings at runtime
it's the first time I receive this petition so that's my big doubt.
Thanks!

There's a discussion on this from a few years ago I found on google that might be worth a look: stackoverflow.com/questions/7880383/what-benefit-is-conferred-by-tcp-timestamp 0
