acount creation form server

When a reseller creates a new account they get emailed from the server containing host name Subject: [server2.XXXXXXX.com] New account: XXXX (newaccount.com) from: From: cPanel for resellername on server2.xxxxxxxx.com client complaining that server name is shown to them and all their clients. Is there a way to remove the server2.XXXXXXXX.com from the subject and from line? Thanks

  No clients should be getting an email on new account creation. Reseller and root user only, get those.

  yes that is correct the reseller gets that email showing the server name. But that reseller has a reseller and they create an account and get the same email and then that reseller creates an account and they get the server name. As you said all resellers get that same email when they create the account. No matter how many levels deep the reseller is from the root. So is there a way to remove that one thing from the root or cpanel emails? [server2.XXXXXXX.com] Thanks

  Not that I'm aware of. Also, sub resellers are not supported by cPanel, AFAIK.

  Ok thanks and I understand cpanel doesn't support sub resellers but I also know cpanel isn't dumb they now there are other plugins that just pass through what cpanel does allow for example zamfoo just to name one plugin and many whm users use these type of plugins. Anyway this is why I asked if there was a way to remove it from the reseller. If there was then I'm sure it would have carried on down the sub resellers the same way. Thanks

  Hello, There's no support for removing the server's hostname in the "FROM" field as the email notification is in-fact generated from the server itself. I encourage you to open a feature request if you'd like to see an option to hide the hostname: Notification Templates - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you.
