Time to move off CentOS5: March 31st, 2017: The Day the Sun Sets on CentOS 5 | cPanel Blog And, upgrade to a newer version of cPanel: cPanel Long-Term Support - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Your PHP is out of date, as is MySQL: MySQL 5.1 End Of Life | cPanel Blog That doesn't properly answer your question I know. Still, you're working with a server that's reached EOL on just about everything.

Hey there, I appreciate that, but unfortunately there's a Drupal 6 installation that is very incompatible with PHP 5.4+, and in general this server is so full of old, outdated website codes that I'm extremely reluctant to upgrade without taking great caution. I only inherited responsibility for it five weeks ago, so I'm still coming up with my full plan for that upgrade. Any advice would be welcome.

    Any advice would be welcome.

I don't want to sound too harsh here, but as many things that are out of date on that server, you've also got out of date scripts on your server that really, really, should be managed ASAP. Don't take my word for it though, have a look: cvedetails.com/vulnerability-list/vendor_id-1367/product_id-2387/Drupal-Drupal.html Not sure what Hosting Company you're with, doesn't matter here, but there are Hosting Providers that offer managed hosting and will move you to a new server. Lots of options to find a respected cPanel Partner here: cPanel Hosting Partner Directory
