Sending Bulk Email Question

Hi, What is the best tool for sending bulk emails, paid or unpaid. Currently, we are using the google docs mail merge feature. I am searching for a tool that is easier to handle with a good user experience. Please give your suggestions. Nobody here to help me with an answer?
