MultiPHP INI Editor - How does it work?

I have been working with WHM for years but the recent changes are beyond me. So I go to MultiPHP Editor, go to Editor Mode and add my line. How do I apply this now? Because clearly it does not get saved properly. I added my line to all INI files using the editor but Apache does not recognize it. How does it work? Do I have to rebuild completely? It is very counter-intuitive now. The panel is becoming too complex to work with so I will definitely be looking for alternatives.

  Hi, It really depends on what Apache handler you're running. I'd recommend copying your php.ini to '.user.ini', and that should help. If you're using DSO, you'll need to apply those changes to your .htaccess file with php_flags. We're making changes in v62 and v64 that will write to both .user.ini, php.ini, and (in v64), htaccess files.
