Sync authorized keys with all accts?

I'm director of tech for a marketing company. I have about 200 cpanel accts diatibuted over 6 VPS. I also have about 20 non-tech users at the moment who SHOULD have (at least) sftp access to the cpanel accts. My dream scenario: - i make one key per user, each with a separate id. - the cpanel accts' authorized keys are symlinked to a dir in /root This way: - onboarding new staff is a question of adding their key to the /root key directory and it's automagically enabled for all accts on that VPS. - similarly, offboarding - or should a key be compromised somehow - is a question of removing that key from the dir in /root Is this just a dream, or is it something that others have had success with?
