mailer-daemon + autoresponders
When a user sets up autoresponders, I get email from mailer-daemon all the time in my account. Can you delete this type of email?

What's the email say, are you speaking of bounced emails? 0 -

My apologies, I'm still unsure what you're asking here. Could you please expand on the issue a bit more? 0 -

Are these valid emails bouncing back to you, or auto responses to spam email addresses that don't actually exist? Post one of the emails here after editing out the real domain(s), email, IP addresses to look at. 0 -

If you send an email of your own to your client at his email address that he has the auto responder setup on, do you get a proper auto response or no? 0 -
Yes. It works 0 -
What are the settings for this account under the Default Address section of his cPanel, discard or forward? 0 -
3 options... The system currently forwards mail for "root" to "mymail@gmail.com". The system currently forwards mail for "cpanel" to "mymail@gmail.com". The system currently forwards mail for "nobody" to "mymail@gmail.com". The notification level is medium and high. In notification you have many options. Which one should be the autoresponder? 0 -
options...
Those options are in WebHost Manager. In the cPanel account with the autoresponder setup, email section > Default Address. What's this set to?0 -
Catch any email that is sent to an invalid email address for your domain. For more information, read the documentation. Managing: Default Address Maintenance Send all unrouted email for the following domain: Current Setting: :fail: No Such User Here 0 -
If you can send an email and you get an auto response properly, we can assume that's working under normal circumstances. Does the account have a valid email address setup under Contact Information for the account? Top right corner of the cPanel, where the user's name is shown, is a menu with a link to Contact Information. 0 -
this option: Enter an email address to receive account notifications and password reset confirmations. Do not use an email address that your cPanel account owns. --- Was with a valid account from the same domain. Changed to ....gmail.com... 0 -

We are experiencing the same issue, what was the solution? 0 -
Hello, Internal case CPANEL-11294 is open to address an issue where Autoresponders respond to non-delivery reports (example, Mailer-Daemon). There's no workaround available at this time, other than to try the solutions offered in threads like this: Autoresponders producing e-mails to Mailer-Daemon You can also find a corresponding feature request at: Ignore bouncebacks when the autoresponder is on I'll update this thread with more information on the status of CPANEL-11294 as it becomes available. Thank you. 0 -
Hello, To update, CPANEL-11294 is scheduled for inclusion with cPanel version 66 and should address the issue reported on this thread. Thank you. 0
