Plesk to Cpanel
Hello all,
I am new to the world of website migrations and usually get involved with WordPress migrations cPanel to cPanel - which are relatively straightforward.
I have now been tasked with migrating 370 sites (mostly magento and joomla) from a plesk server to a dedicated cPanel server. I need to have these websites migrated by early February. The sooner the better so that I can work through each domain and get the nameservers updated with the registrars - to make matters worse the domains are registered all over the place.
As a test, I have transferred ten sites utilising the transfer tool built in to cPanel. I then updated my local hosts file and just two sites came across fine with the rest throwing PHP errors, most of which are the below:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function iconv_set_encoding()
Perhaps this task is beyond my level of knowledge at the moment as I am not that experienced in dealing with PHP errors but I am willing to learn and would like to know if you guys could give me some advice / tips on how you would go about migrating a large volume of websites as I want to make this as easy as possible - if that in itself is at all possible! :)

The docs may be of some use: cPanel Migration Services and Guides - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation cPanel can help you with the migration! Details at the link. 0 -
Thanks for the response and that is good information to know going forward. I have managed to get round some of the PHP errors by enabling the relevant modules (Doh!). 0
