Renaming domain through cPanel API or WHM API?

Is there any way of renaming domain through cPanel API or WHM API, no matter if it is primary or addon domain?

  I think you can change your main domain name using modifyacct function. Please check following docs and try now. WHM API 1 Functions - modifyacct - Software Development Kit - cPanel Documentation

  Hello, The WHM API 1 function referenced in the previous post will allow you to rename the primary domain name associated with an account. It's not possible to rename an addon domain name. You'd have to add a new addon domain name and configure it with the same document root, and then remove the old one. Thank you.
