WHM Backups Not Automatically Removing Old Backups Anymore

My WHM server is set to backup up daily for a week and once a month. It used to remove the daily backup that would become 8 days old and only keep the seven days. It hasn't been doing this so now if I don't manually remove the backups, I'll get an email warning that I'm running out of space, about every 10 or so days. I'm confused why this used to work but doesn't any more. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!
