Backup creates .ph files instead of .php
Can't explain why using the backup manager creates a tarball with several dozen files named with an extension .ph instead of .php .

Hello! How were you creating those backups when you refer to the 'Backup Manager'? That isn't a section inside cPanel or WHM. Were you using the cPanel nightly backups that are configured under 'Backup Configuration' or were you referring to the 'Backup Wizard' inside of cPanel? 0 -
Backup Wizard inside of cpanel, apologize for the error in parlance. I've had this happen a couple of times and it appears to have caused a serious restoration problem. Some of the sites I'm trying to resurrect keep spitting out errors because random files appear to have been tarred with this .ph file truncation. Some of the archives work after just manually changing each file I can find with a .ph extension. 0 -
