Confused over reverse DNS when domain on a different IP

I have got myself totally confused: Example server1.mydomain.com is on IP111.111.111.1 Domain: myotherdomain.com is on IP 111.111.111.2 This is necessary because WHMCS is with myotherdomain.com and has an SSL certificate. When testing With MX Toolbox, I get the following results for myotherdomain.com SMTP Reverse DNS Mismatch Reverse DNS does not contain the hostname SMTP Banner Check Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner SMTP Transaction Time 5.500 seconds - Warning on Transaction Time SMTP Valid Hostname OK - Reverse DNS is a valid Hostname SMTP TLS OK - Supports TLS. SMTP Connection Time 1.688 seconds - Good on Connection time SMTP Open Relay OK - Not an open relay. other domains on that share the main IP are fine. Please de-confuse me please!

  What is the rDNS set to? From which IP is the mail being sent?
