Database issues? WHMCS upgrade
Hi,
I have a old whmcs that needs upgrading however the script to upgrade does not function I opened a ticket with WHMCS and they keep coming back to me that its the my sql performance that is causing the problem.
I have tried various changes to the my.cnf but nothing seems to work for the upgrade script they have.
I am running this on a VPS very low load only 5 domains none of them are big sites wordpress openecart etc for SOHO and ma and pa local buiness's.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Kind Regards,
MIKHAIL

No enough details here I don't think. What exactly is the error you're running up against?0 -
Error is something like this: Unable to complete incremental updates: Unable to import the 6.0.0 Alpha1 database file. Unable to import /home/path/public_html/myaccount/resources/sql/upgrade600alpha1.sql: SQLSTATE[42S01]: Base table or view already exists: 1050 Table 'tblupdatehistory' already exists 0 -
Quick search for that error and I find this thread: Error during upgrade 6.0 issues? Second post by John: Please ensure the tblupdatehistory table does not exist in your WHMCS MySQL database before running the upgrade script.
Doesn't read like a performance issue to me. Here's a few others: upgrading from 5.3 to 6.2.2 Whmcs 6 upgrade problem You might want to review those and post to the WHMCS forums for more help with this.0 -
Thanks for the links. I will try increasing the php timeout values for execution and mysql settings. 0 -
