Permissions incorrect serverwide

Hi I'm run an incorrect script `chmod -R 755 .*.` that crash my VPS and all things incorrect How i can fix permissions of all data in my VPS ? Currently i am fix my http and Mysql and my websites back online but my emails can not send or receive and i can't upload any thing using PHP I'm test `repair mail permission` in WHM but issue not fix

  Try to check ownership of your $HOMEDIR/etc $HOMEDIR/etc/*/shadow $HOMEDIR/etc/*/passwd files and folder and test it again.
  chown $user:mail $HOMEDIR/etc $HOMEDIR/etc/*/shadow $HOMEDIR/etc/*/passwd
  Note : Replace $HOMEDIR to your userhome directory (/home/cPUSER) and $user to cPanel user name

  Hello, While you may find some manual commands that you can run to help resolve the issue, it's really a better idea to install a new OS and complete a new installation of cPanel. Then, restore the accounts on the new server from backup, or by using the transfer option in Web Host Manager if you have no previous backups available. Thank you.
