Horde unable to send an email with an attachment over 1MB
-
Hello, Internal case CPANEL-10763 is open to address the issue where sending an email via Horde on with an attachment 1MB in size or larger results in the following error message on systems using cPanel version 62: There was an error sending your message: only RSET accepted now
I'll update this thread with more information on the status of this case once it's available. Thank you.0 -
Same here, multiple accounts and multiple servers, all have same issue. 0 -
It is a known Horde bug and it has already been fixed by Horde. So just need to get it into cPanel upstream 0 -
Is there an ETR on this? Or work around? 0 -

There's no specific time frame to offer at this time, but I'll update this thread once the resolution is published. There's no available workaround, other than to use Roundcube or Squirrelmail to send emails with an attachment(s) 1MB in size or larger. Thank you.0 -

Hello, The resolution associated with internal case CPANEL-10763 is planned for inclusion with cPanel version 62.0.11. I'll update this thread again once that build is published. Thank you. 0 -
This is still a problem. Needs to be addressed urgently as my clients are unable to send documents as normal. Please resolve timely. Many serious email related bugs in this version including this and DKIM errors for gmail. 0 -

hi my current cpanel show this message : "Version "62.0.10" is available.
Hello, No, the resolution is included with cPanel version 62.0.11. Previous builds do not address the issue. 62.0.11 is not yet published to the "Current" and "Release" build tiers: Product Versions and the Release Process - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you.0 -
The cPanel update settings on my VPS are set to "current build" and mine updated to 62.0.11 during the overnight cron on Friday. I just successfully sent a couple of emails with attachments > 1MB using Horde, so it looks like this little nightmare has finally ended. I was getting ready to abandon Horde after it took an entire MONTH for this to be resolved. Thanks for acknowledging the issue and keeping us posted. 0 -
I too changed my setting to Current in order to correct the issues so many customers were having. My question is. Can I change my update preference back to RELEASE now or do I need to wait until 62.0.11 is RELEASE? 0 -

Hello, You should wait until 62.0.11 or newer is published to the "Release" tier before changing your update preferences. You can see when a tier is updated by visiting the following URL: Downloads | cPanel, Inc. Thank you.0 -
Thanks I thought so. 0
