No apache user on EA4?
Centos: 7
WHM/cpanel: 11.60.0.34
----
Hi
My main issue started because i keep getting "bash: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable" when processes limit is set to 40000
Anyway, after investigation we wanted to see if maybe the user apache was getting too much resources but system says there is no apache user.
The hosting provider indicates that on this version cpanel takes care of modifying many things and therefore user apache is not visible anymore.
Is this correct?
Second question:
Why there is no httpd as package anymore?
thanks

Hello, EasyApache 4 uses it's own package name for Apache, as it's not the same Apache package that you'd install from the default YUM repo provided by your OS: ea-apache24-2.4.25-2.2.1.cpanel.x86_64
Anyway, after investigation we wanted to see if maybe the user apache was getting too much resources but system says there is no apache user.
Apache will run as the "nobody" username, but PHP processes may run as the account username depending on the PHP handler configured on the system. Thank you.0
