How to Forward contingent on a Size Limit

Our old email server used SurgeMail and setting up email forwarding with filesize contingencies was so easy. Since no one has yet to reply to me, it would seem that cPanel lacks the means to do this, which of course would mean cPanel is inferior as a result. Does everyone here concur? Regardless, the fact our web host moved us to a new server running cPanel only is beyond our control. We are stuck with cPanel, so I of course would love to hear a way to solve this problem. I look forward to your kind replies. Thank you.

Hello, It's not possible to filter emails based on the message body size within the cPanel interface, however there's a feature request I encourage you to vote and add feedback to at: Email Filtering -ADD Rule -Attachment +Size +Kind You could also send a request to your web hosting provider to setup the filter rule, as it's possible to setup such a rule with the Exim system filter if you have root access to the system: How to Customize the Exim System Filter File - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I tried to cast my vote (not that a whopping 10 votes total would likely persuade the powers that be), but it wants me to login and when I try to do that it rejects me. Is that posted on a different server that requires yet another registration?

Yes. You will need to register an account there on the Feature Requests site.

Well, I went through the bother of registering there. No invite code, but it accepted my name and email and PSW, or so I thought. It never sent me the confirmation email, and yes, I've checked "Track Delivery" in my cPanel to know that for sure. Either that server is very slow at sending confirmation emails, or it really wanted that confirmation code! Well, I tried. Thanks.

Well, it finally came through and I got registered and have now voted. Curious if our 11 votes will add that much needed improvement. Best wishes.

Thanks for going to the trouble of registering to vote for the Feature. Every vote counts! :)
