See reason why email is filtered?
Hi,
Is it possible to see why an email was filtered? I know you can see the sender address, but this isn't really sufficient. One of our clients has a lot of rules, and it seems like random mails (eg. email from hotel booking) has been filtered. I've checked his filters, and most of them are just blocking spam titles.

Hello, You can see that a message was filtered in the message output within /var/log/exim_mainlog, however no native feature in cPanel exists to tell you which specific filter rule was responsible for the message getting filtered. You'd need to examine the affected message and manually test it via the instructions under the "Testing a new filter file" section of the following document: 1. Forwarding and filtering in Exim Thank you. 0 -
Hi, (topic digger inside) It would be a great feature to know the rule which triggered the filter. When we use the tester we see which rule was involved, very nice if we could have this message on the "Email delivery reports" results column, because for now we just have the word "Filtered"... IMHO Just the name of the rule instead would be better than "Filtered". Because we can't know when we do not have received a mail... Thanks 0
