Hello, Information about the cPanel hardened kernel is available at: How to Harden Your cPanel System's Kernel - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation While those warnings on this document are true, it's generally a straightforward process that doesn't result in any issues on the system. We're happy to help answer any questions you have about the documented installation steps. Thank you.

thanks Michael, i have started this thread after reading it. I want to know if i can get trouble applying this kernel patch and i want to know if there are possible tasks to do before for avoid system failure or reboots like described in documentation ! i want to know system requirements, free memory needed, disk space needed, versions, file to backup, etc etc in other words a checklist ! it is better to open a ticket? thanks

Hello, No additional steps are required when installing the cPanel hardened kernel, beyond what's documented. Feel free to post the output from the following commands and we can verify if your system supports it:
    uname -a cat /var/cpanel/envtype cat /etc/redhat-release arch
    Thank you.
