Extending & customizing the Code Editor in File Manager?

For now the Code Editor is very obsolete in functionalities and we would like it to be able to accommodate more coding languages and add some frontend customizations, e.g. add custom CSS and JS files there. Preferably this is added on top of cPanel so it won't be a problem when cPanel updates. Is this possible? How?

    What you are proposing is not possible without a lot of effort on your part. The good news is we are replacing the code editor with Ace Editor in version 64. I suggest looking over the features of Ace Editor to see if it meets your needs: Ace - The High Performance Code Editor for the Web

    We're currently targeting it for release in v64, which is under active development right now. I'm not sure when the first EDGE release of v64 will be available, but stay tuned for that.

    This is beautiful! Hopefully v64 can be available SOON! Looking forward to it! Please release it ASAP! :)
