access site via ip/~username

I am trying to set up my WHM so i can view sites via ip/~username while they are been developed but i am having no luck. At first i was getting a error 404 page and then after some research i seen i had to deactivate mod_ruid2. after doing this i now get "not supported" when i try view the website
