"ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server" after migrate emails
Hi,
I have downloaded an email backup wich contains 4Gb and 24 email accounts, from an old server wich is not cPanel.
Then I created these 24 accounts on my server, with cPanel.
Then I uploaded the backup ot my server, each folder to your respective folder on my server.
After the upload, I checked the webmail with the Squirrelmail and this message appears:
ERROR
ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.
Query: FETCH 467:481 (INTERNALDATE FLAGS BODY.PEEK[HEADER.FIELDS (From Content-Type X-Priority Subject Importance Priority)])
what can I do?
Obs: The DNS points to the OLD SERVER yet.
Sorry my English...
bye

Hello, Do you still have access to the old server? If so, it's likely a better idea to use a third-party utility such as ImapSync to manually import the emails: GitHub - imapsync/imapsync You'd want to first remove the emails you've already uploaded to the cPanel server. Thank you. 0 -

Unfortunelly, I have not access to the old server anymore, only the backup.0 -
Hello, You can try repairing the permissions on the email files you uploaded with a command such as: /scripts/mailperm $username
Otherwise, if the issue persists, feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look to see what's happening. Thank you.0
