DNS cluster DKIM on second server

Hi, I have two servers in a DNS cluster. One server runs a website (mainsite.com) and has DKIM enabled. The other server runs an application (appserver.com) that sends email on behalf of mainsite.com. When sending email using the mainsite.com SMTP server, it adds a DKIM header. However, when relaying email from mainsite.com using the appserver.com SMTP, it does not add a DKIM header. How can I set up cPanel/Exim so that it adds a DKIM header when sending mainsite.com email using appserver.com SMTP. I can't do it in the application itself since I have no control over that. Is it possible to somehow
