Hello, Is this in regards to the "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)" option available under "Settings" in "cPanel >> File Manager"? If so, there are no native options that will allow you to enable it for all accounts. I recommend opening a feature request if you'd like to see such an option added: Submit A Feature Request As workaround, you can develop a bash script that automatically creates a file named "showhiddenfiles" in the "/home/$user/.cpanel/nvdata/" directory with "1" as its content for each account. Once this file exists under each account, and "/home/$user/.cpanel/nvdata.cache" is updated on each account, the hidden files will then show in File Manager. Thank you.

Do you need to do something to update the cache? Or does it update on it's own? if on it's own, how quickly does it update?

Hello, You can remove the nvdata.cache file and it will automatically regenerate the time time cPanel is accessed for the account. Thank you.
