Have a max daily backup
Hi,
I backup every day (retain 1 Daily backups) locally and to S3.
After 5 Week in my backup folder i have backup of
Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday = 7 backups. NOT ok for me.
On my S3 I have 5 week * 7 week= 35 backups. Witch is OK for me.
What i want, it's todo local backup every day, transfert to S3 everyday BUT only keep only 3 backup on my local backup drive. Because i dont have enough space, BUT i want have some backup local for the pratical raison.
It's possible?

Hello, You should not retain more than one daily backup archives if you have configured backup retention to "1". This suggests pruning is failing because the backup process is failing for one or more accounts. Do you notice any error messages in the backup logs stored within the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/ directory? Thank you. 0 -

Hello, The output you provided shows a partial failure, which will in-fact prevent backup pruning. You can find the thread on this topic at: Backup pruning behavior in cPanel 60 Thank you.0
