customize paper lantern sidebar

Please advise. I thought, maybe the best approach would be to duplicate the theme, than dive into the code and just remove chunks or add stuff. I wish to rearrange items in the paper lantern theme sidebar. Specifically, I would like to: [LIST]

td ng-controller="themesController"

place the stats sidebar, above the general info

add a custom sidebar table row td Thanks in advance for your attention,
