Incorrect Sender from Wordpress contact form

I set up a Wordpress site for a client on a CPanel server. The client complained that they were not getting emails from their contact forms. I checked the Mail Delivery Report, all the mail coming from their site has @ as the sender as opposed to all the other sites on the server which have the "From" address of whatever site is sending the mail. I've checked all the contact form and mail settings on the site and they're all fine. Any ideas? This is using Contact Form & with Wordpress mail set to use the wp_mail() function

  You should configure the site to use SMTP authentication with an actual email address on the cPanel account. That should solve this for you.
