Unable to receive mails with xslm attachments

Since last week we are unable to receive emails with excel xlsm file attachments. The delivery failure message to the senders is as follows: "Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 We do not accept .xlsm attachments here." This was not the case before! We utilise that format fairly frequently and only accept those kind of attachments from trusted sources. What could have changed?

  Hello, To clarify, do you receive that error message when attempting to send an email to an email account hosted on the cPanel server? If so, are you able to reproduce the error message when sending the email from from various remote mail servers? Do you have root access to this system, and if not, have you reported the issue to your web hosting provider? Thank you.

  Thanks Mike and sorry for delayed reply. I don't have root access and requested the provider to deal with issue which has been resolved! Kudus for the prompt response, much appreciated!:):)
