cPanel Style Not Working Properly

My client has a VPS with Bluehost, CENTOS 6.8 x86_64 kvm " server WHM 62.0 (build 15), and on one of the cpanels, which is using the classic layout (and which I cannot find where to switch it), I am getting a bunch of errors in the sidebar:
Template::Exception: [TYPE]=[undef] [INFO]=[Cpanel::Exception::IO::FileOpenError/(XID g9n5gh) The system failed to open the file "/etc/fstab" for reading because of an error: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Exception/CORE.pm line 77.

(XID hdzawm) The system failed to open the file "/etc/fstab" for reading because of an error: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/API/StatsBar.pm line 48.

Failed to fetch stat item: cachedmysqldiskusage:_max at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/API/StatsBar.pm line 49. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/API/StatsBar.pm line 49.

(XID d8pgwk) The system failed to open the file "/etc/fstab" for reading because of an error: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/API/StatsBar.pm line 48.
There are a bunch of debug lines under each but I didn't want to flood the post. Any idea what might be going on, or how to rectify it? -Michael

  You should check the Package the account is using to make sure it's set to use Paper Lantern.

  The issue with inaccessible /etc/fstab is tracked in CPANEL-11201. The fix should be issued in the next build of version 62. A work around is to change the permissions on /etc/fstab to 0644.

  You should check the Package the account is using to make sure it's set to use Paper Lantern.

  
  It is paper lantern, just using the old layout style for some reason.

  The issue with inaccessible /etc/fstab is tracked in CPANEL-11201. The fix should be issued in the next build of version 62. A work around is to change the permissions on /etc/fstab to 0644.

  FYI, recompiling Apache using Easy Apache 3 (I needed to upgrade anyway, he was on PHP 5.4) fixed the issue. Thanks! -Michael
