Without .php extension index file not working

    we are facing some trouble while accessing our PHP based website after we migrated to updated cpanel, the PHP based website is not working without .php on the website. kindly anyone advises me what I have to change in .htaccess

    Hello, Could you let us know the name of the file you are attempting to open in your browser and the contents of the .htaccess file in the document root for this domain name? Also, please post the output from the following commands:
    cat /usr/local/cpanel/version /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_phpconf --current
