retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period

we are having this really strange issue. We send email from one cpanel server to another cpanel server and it will bounce back with this error: retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period Tried googling but no solutions helps. Strange thing is, the email sometimes will go through but most of the times it will fail. It also only happens from server A to server B. we have tested: disable firewall sending from gmail to server B to A and it works. sending from another cpanel server C to server B and it works. sending from another server A (another domain account) to server B and it don't work. Any ideas?

  Hello, Can you make sure server A is able to resolve the MX record for the remote domain hosted in server B, also make sure server A is able to connect to the SMTP service at server B by issuing: telnet 25

  Hello, Can you verify each cPanel server can resolve the other server's hostname? For instance, when testing with telnet, try using the server's hostname instead of the IP address. Thank you.
